ENCOURAGING YOUTH charitable EFFORTS
* to empower, encourage and celebrate cancer warriors with our special projects:
The Vivian St. Onge Memorial Rickshaw Team (enabling cancer warriors to experience the joy and exhilaration of charity cycling events with team pedicab drivers);
The Hope Bear Project (providing Hope Bears and Encouragement Packs to cancer patients to bring comfort and foster hope);
Wishes For Hope (creatively fulfilling little wishes for cancer patients);
Furries For Hope and Supers For Hope (bringing smiles to kids with life-threatening illnesses with visits to respite camps, charity and community events with our Furry Ambassador Lagoona the Dutch Angel Dragon and friends, and our superheroes and special characters);
Youth Ambassadors For Hope (motivating, guiding and providing opportunities for youth to be creative, compassionate members of our communities, and recognizing outstanding charitable efforts by youth).

Team Short Folks For Hope and The Short Family's Cool Treats For Charity nonprofit frozen treat pushcart business also raise funds and awareness for other hope-fostering organizations, including Dempsey Center, Hospice House, Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, Camp Sunshine of Sebago Lake, Fast Freddie Foundation, and others.
